Emirates NBD, the Dubai-based bank, announced a record income of Dh42.2 billion for the first nine months of 2026, marking a 15% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth was driven by strong lending activities and higher deposits across its core markets.
The bank’s total assets reached Dh1.38 trillion by the end of September, an increase of 18% since the start of the year. Gross loans rose by 27% to Dh833 billion, while customer deposits grew by 19% to Dh935 billion.
Emirates NBD also expanded its international operations with the acquisition of RBL Bank in India and an agreement to acquire HSBC Egypt’s retail banking business, aiming to strengthen its presence in key growth markets.
